Health & Fitness Performance

What does it take to get your best body? You won't get it by settling for a 'one-size fits all' approach to fitness. Personalised nutrition goes hand-in-hand with personalised training if max performance is your goal. We can help you find your own winning formula.

It doesn’t matter if the desire is to lose fat and gain muscle to feel better about body shape, feel fitter with more energy, or being able to run a marathon, success depends not only on pure motivation, but physical capability. Personalised nutrition is critical to maximum performance, as well as working with a personal trainer (PT) who understands there isn’t a ‘one-size fits all’ approach to training. We are all individuals. Barriers to fitness include lack of knowledge on nutrition and poor fuelling to recover from and between PT sessions, which can result in high drop-out rates – a hallmark of membership clubs specialising in high intensity outdoor ‘military-style’ fitness. Lifestyle factors must be taken into account before devising a programme that’s realistic. We partner with PTs to get results both inside and outside the gym or training studio by removing as many nutrition and lifestyle barriers to fitness as possible.

Optimising health and performance goals for clients is key, so we use DNA testing to educate about injury risk and optimal recovery based on individual genetic variations. We've created numerous programmes and successfully coached clients through improvements in basic weekly training, to competing in endurance cycling events and marathons.

Working in partnership with personal trainers delivers transformational results for clients looking to achieve their 'best body' and overcome barriers to fitness that they may not even be aware they have, or have difficulty overcoming.

Adele works with fitness companies and personal trainers (PTs), and is the resident consultant nutritionist at Mint Fitness in Brighton where she works to optimise health and performance goals for their clients. As a certified DNALife practitioner, she also uses a range of genetic tests to educate about injury risk and optimal recovery based on individual variations. Working alongside PTs, Adele has created numerous programmes and successfully coached clients through improvements in basic weekly training, to endurance cycling competitions and marathons.

As a personal trainer with a busy client base, it’s been hugely beneficial to work with an experienced, properly qualified nutrition expert. The fitness industry is full of unregulated ‘advice’, along with the promotion of supplements that often contain poor quality additive-laden ingredients. Most of my clients are busy professionals with issues that prevent them from achieving their best body, such as IBS, poor skin, low energy, sleep problems, stress and weight issues. Adele gets to the root causes and provides each client with a wealth of bespoke information, including fully interpreted DNA testing to understand barriers to fitness. Adele is a huge asset to have on our team. I have witnessed incredible transformations from her programmes and will recommend her to anyone who has a body!
